Belavia – Belarusian Airlines has officially commenced charter operations between Minsk and Thailand, reinforcing aviation and tourism ties between the two countries.

The first flight to Pattaya (U-Tapao International Airport) departed on 8 January 2026, followed by the launch of Minsk–Phuket services on 11 January 2026. The inaugural service operated with a 100% passenger load.

Flights will operate once every 10–11 days, with estimated flight times of 10 hours to Thailand and approximately 11 hours on the return leg.

Seats are sold exclusively through tour operators, as part of packaged travel products.

Belavia’s Deputy General Director for Marketing and Foreign Economic Affairs, Uladzimir Barkun, highlighted that Thailand has long been a high-demand destination for Belarusian travelers. He noted that the route’s development was initiated during high-level diplomatic discussions in July 2025 and represents a new phase in bilateral cooperation.
